Institute of Packaging Professionals

The Institute of Packaging Professionals at Virginia Tech is a student chapter of the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP). The club is for any student, no matter what major across the university, that is interested in the study of packaging. Any student of Virginia Tech is able to join IoPP@VT at no cost! Benefits of IoPP membership can be found on their website.

Many activities are organized through the club each year. The packaging related activities include participation in multiple design competitions, travel to PackExpo-Chicago, IoPP Va/Car chapter meetings and the IoPP Student Packaging Jamboree. Other activities include picnics, community service projects and guest speakers. Being an active member of the club adds a professional element to your résumé and is a good way to meet your fellow classmates and peers.
